Tottenham Hotspur have been scouting Morgan Sanson for eight months now.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have tracked Sanson’s performances throughout the season, with scouts watching him since way back in November.
Foot 01 suggested how Spurs were tracking the central midfielder eight months ago, and it seems that they are ready to make their move now.

Tottenham will reportedly have to compete with both Arsenal and Chelsea for the signature of the midfielder.
Sanson made 53 appearances for Marseille over the past campaign, scoring 12 times and claiming three assists.
If he was brought to Spurs, he could be a replacement for either Mousa Dembele or Victor Wanyama.

The pair have both been linked with moves away from Tottenham recently, with Pochettino seemingly looking to upgrade his options in central midfield.
Pochettino is known to want signings at Spurs this summer, with the Argentine boss suggesting he was aiming to have some business done before the World Cup starts next week.
