Tottenham Hotspur are said to have been tracking Real Betis’ Fabian Ruiz.

Ruiz currently has a release clause in his contract, which means he is valued at £13.2 million.
However, Betis are planning to offer Ruiz a new deal, which will increase his value.
Spurs could now look to bid in January, after tracking the midfielder for much of the season, according to the Spanish press.

Tottenham are in competition with Manchester United, Leicester City and Roma for Ruiz, who has impressed in La Liga this term.
Ruiz has made 15 La Liga appearances for Real Betis this term, scoring twice and claiming two assists.
The youngster is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in Spain, and he is already playing regularly.

Ruiz’s natural position is in the centre of midfield, but he is also capable of playing as a left-winger.
Tottenham are yet to make a signing in the January transfer window, but they are though to have money to spend.
