Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Real Betis’s Antonio Sanabria in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Antonio Sanabria from Real Betis in the summer transfer window, according to The Express.

According to the report, Tottenham were interested in signing Sanabria last summer and will reignite their interest at the end of the season.

The Paraguay international striker reportedly snubbed Spurs’ interest last summer and joined Betis from AS Roma.

The former Barcelona youngster has scored four goals and created five chances in 18 La Liga appearances for Betis so far this season.

Good signing?

Sanabria is a promising and talented striker, and he is only 21 years of age.

The youngster is still progressing and developing, and he would be a good signing for Tottenham in the long term.

However, if the North London outfit are looking for instant results, then Sanabria is not the answer.

Just like Vincent Janssen this season, the youngster will need time to settle and adjust to life in the Premier League.

Harry Kane is Tottenham’s first-choice striker, and the club need to sign an able back-up in the summer, someone who can hit the ground running.
