Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City look set to do business this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have failed in an attempt to include Manchester City’s Jadon Sancho in the deal to take Kyle Walker to the Etihad Stadium, The Mirror reports.

City are hoping to prise Walker away from north London, though it was previously claimed that Tottenham were refusing to budge on their £50 million valuation of the player [also Mirror].

And while it appears they were willing to compromise if it meant Sancho coming in the opposite direction, the Citizens are not so keen according to the tabloid.

City are said to be desperately trying to get the England under-17 winger to sign a new contract, amid interest from Arsenal and RB Leipzig as well as Tottenham.

And it is claimed they could lose him for less than £500,000 training compensation this summer, if he fails to commit.

City signed Sancho from Watford in 2015 and it was reported earlier this year that the player was eyeing a return to his southern roots [The Sun], which could invite Tottenham to pounce.
