According to Bild, Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid for Matthias Ginter – and Borussia Dortmund are willing to sell.
It was reported by The Evening Standard earlier this month that Tottenham delegates had watched the 23-year-old in action for Germany in a recent clash with Denmark.
And German outlet Bild have now claimed that Spurs, as well as Dortmund’s Bundesliga rivals Hoffenheim, have made an offer for the World Cup winner.

The report goes on to claim that Dortmund are willing to sell the centre-back, who started 26 Bundesliga outings for Die Borussen this past season.
According to The Sun, Ginter, whose contract expires in 2019, is worth £15 million, but the amount that the Lilywhites have offered is not disclosed.

With Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, Tottenham already arguably have the best centre-half pairing in the Premier League, but the potential arrival for Ginter would certainly help the duo raise their game.
Alderweireld and Vertonghen are not at risk of losing their first-team spot to Eric Dier or Kevin Wimmer, but the Germany international is another matter altogether.
