The Czech striker is also wanted by the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan.
Patrik Schick
This summer Tottenham Hotspur are once again on the look-out for a new striker. Their summer signing from last season, Vincent Janssen, has failed to be a quality back-up to star striker Harry Kane and a new option is seemingly a major target for Spurs.
One such player is Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick. The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals in 34 games for the Italian side this season, after joining the club from Sparta Prague last summer.
Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen reacts
The Czech Republic international has been scouted by Tottenham recently and now it seems an agreement might actually be in place between the club and the player’s agent.
That is at least the case according to a report from Il Secolo XIX.

They are suggesting that Tottenham have reached an agreement over a contract offer for Schick with his agent Pavel Paska. The report claims that, despite a similar agreement with interested parties Juventus and Inter Milan, Spurs are the favourites for his signature as he wants to play in the Premier League. Borussia Dortmund and Marseille are also interested.
It was recently reported by talkSPORT that the Czech has a release clause in his deal at Sampdoria of €21 million (£18 million) and with that in place negotiations between the player and club are undoubtedly the key.
If Tottenham have managed to reach such an agreement, then a deal for Schick looks increasingly likely.
