Tottenham Hotspur’s Lucas Moura made himself a club legend by scoring a hat-trick in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Moura had joined Spurs in January 2018, and his in his initial few months with the North London club he was only really used in a reserve role.
The Brazilian was held back by Pochettino, who wanted to give him time to adapt to English football.
When Moura was used he was generally played out wide, when the £75,000-a-week forward (Spotrac) felt he was better off being utilised in a more central role.
But Pochettino stated that Moura that he needed to remain patient and then chances would come at Spurs.
Pochettino has been true to his word, and Moura has made himself a key player at Tottenham this season.

Even before the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, Moura had been one of Tottenham’s most exciting attacking players this term.
However, Moura’s hat-trick against Ajax has written him into Tottenham history.
Moura has played 47 times for Spurs this season, scoring on 15 occasions.
And any concerns he once had over Pochettino have now disappeared, as he is loving his time at Tottenham.
