Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keen to bring Donny van de Beek to White Hart Lane this summer.

According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur believe that they have an advantage in the race to sign Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

Tottenham have set their sights on signing Van De Beek this summer, as they have been very impressed by the Ajax man.

The Dutch midfielder has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino this term, and is said to be available for around £45 million.

Van De Beek currently has plenty of interest in him, with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both said to be keen to take him.

However, Spurs think that their relationship with Ajax could give them a crucial advantage.

Tottenham have signed Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen from Ajax in recent years, and have a great line of communication with the Dutch outfit.

Tottenham actually have the ideal opportunity to scout Van De Beek on Wednesday evening, when they meet Ajax in the Champions League.

Spurs go into the clash looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit after the first leg, and it was Van De Beek who scored Ajax’s goal on that occasion.
