Tottenham Hotspur are keen on Ajax youngster Donny van de Beek

Spurs met fierce resistance from Ajax in their efforts to sign Davinson Sanchez in the summer before the player pushed through a move – but it cost Tottenham a club record £42 million.
Sanchez has so far been a big success, and it is unsurprising Tottenham are taking a look at former teammate Van de Beek.
Van de Beek is a 20-year-old central midfielder who came through the club’s academy.

He has made 13 appearances for Ajax in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
He made 48 appearances last season, ending the campaign with six goals and nine assists.
Van de Beek has represented Holland at every youth level and been called into the senior squad, although is yet to make an appearance, but this is only a matter of time.
Tottenham’s interest in him is a testament to his progress, but competition for places is tough in Mauricio Pochettino’s side and he would have to battle to establish himself as a regular at the club.
