Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are tracking Celtic defender Anthony Ralston, according to ESPN FC.

It has been reported that scouts from Tottenham and Everton watched the 18-year-old right-back in action for the Scotland Under-21 side in their 2-0 win over their Netherlands counterparts in midweek

The Scottish Sun reported last month that West Ham United are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old right-back, who has broken into the Celtic first team.

“Celtic will be reluctant to lose one of their prized assets, but they are bracing themselves for interest in the defender as his stock continues to rise with good performances for club and country,” adds the report on ESPN FC.

Ralston has only just broken into the Celtic first team, but the teenager has already made four appearances for Brendan Rodgers’s side this season.

The youngster is hugely promising and is supremely talented, and one can understand why Tottenham, Everton and West Ham are (reportedly) interested in him.

Should Celtic be worried? Probably, especially as Tottenham, Everton and West Ham all have the financial strength to prise him away from Celtic Park in the January transfer window.

However, Ralston would not play regular first-team football for the aforementioned English teams, but he would have a chance of getting valuable playing time at Celtic as the season progresses.
