Middlesbrough central defender Nathan Wood is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Arsenal and Burnley.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal have tracked the 17-year-old Middlesbrough central defender.
The report has also claimed that Burnley are at the front of the queue for the teenage centre-back who has played for the England Under-17 side and became Boro’s youngest ever player last season when he featured in the EFL Cup.
One for the future
Wood is only 17 years of age, and the teenager has yet to establish himself in the Middlesbrough first team.

It will take a while for the youngster to play regularly for the Boro first team, and perhaps at this stage of his career, he would be better off staying at the Riverside Stadium.
True, the likes of Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal are big clubs, but what Wood needs right now is careful nurturing and gradual progression into the first team.
