According to Corriere Dello Sport (print edition, page 9, September 26, 2020), Tottenham Hotspur could make an offer for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar on Monday.

It has been reported by the Italian publication that talks between Tottenham and Inter over the signing of Skriniar have been going on, but the North London outfit have yet to make an official bid.

Spurs could make an offer tomorrow, according to the report, which has claimed that the Inter are looking for €50-60 million (£45.63-£54.76 million) and that the Premier League club already have reached an agreement with the 25-year-old Slovakia international central defender.

Stats

Skriniar has been on the books of Inter since 2017 and is one of the better centre-backs in Serie A.

According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter last season, and he also played six minutes in the Europa League and played six times in the Champions League last season.

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Tottenham do have two very good central defenders in Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld, but the North London outfit could do with another senior and established centre-back such as Skriniar who would make an immediate impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
