According to a report in the London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur could have £200 million to spend this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino has just penned a new contract at Tottenham, after being given assurances by Daniel Levy that he will have money to spend.

Levy is prepared to give Pochettino £100 million to spend on his squad, and Tottenham will also be able to re-invest the money raised from player sales on his first-team.

Daniel Levy (R) looks on during the Premier League match between West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur at The Hawthorns on October 15, 2016 in West Bromwich, England.

Spurs reportedly anticipate raising around £100 million from their intended sales this summer.

Tottenham want to offload the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Fernando Llorente and Georges Kevin N’Koudou, while Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama could also depart.

If Spurs do raise the money they expect, Pochettino will be able to spend far more heavily than ever before this summer.

Tottenham are already eyeing up some ambitious targets, with Anthony Martial, Matthijs De Ligt and Wilfried Zaha reportedly in their sights.

Spurs have come up just short in the title race over the past three campaigns, but have real ambitions of troubling Manchester City next term.
