According to a report on BBC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are now close to signing Paulo Dybala from Juventus.

Tottenham are said to be ‘hopeful’ that they can bring Dybala in before the deadline closes, in what would be a remarkable move.

It seems that Tottenham could well be the most active side in the Premier League today.

Spurs are on the verge of signing Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis, and they now appear to be getting closer and closer to bringing in Dybala.

Initially the potential transfer of the Argentine looked to be fraught with difficulty, but Tottenham have worked hard to get a deal done.

The BBC now say that the move is very close, in a transfer update which will surely delight Spurs fans.

If Dybala is brought to Tottenham it will arguably be the most momentous transfer made by any Premier League side this summer.
