According to the Daily Express, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has urged chairman Daniel Levy not to sell Christian Eriksen, although there are suggestions that he could be the subject of a bid money bid from PSG before the transfer window closes.

PSG are said to be willing to pay £100 million for Eriksen before the end of the month, but Pochettino does not want to sell the Dane for any price, as he is simply too valuable to Tottenham.

With the English transfer window closed, Pochettino fears not being able replace Eriksen until January, and has told Levy not to sell the Spurs man.

Eriksen’s future at Spurs has fallen into some doubt, as he has stalled over penning a new contract.

Tottenham are keen to tie him down on improved terms for the long-term, but Eriksen is yet to commit his future.

The 26-year-old still has years left on his current deal, but Tottenham are keen to act ahead of time, to ensure they don’t have a similar situation to what they’ve had with Toby Alderweireld.

Eriksen started in Tottenham’s first-game of the season, as Spurs picked up a 2-1 win over Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.
