Report: Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy shared dinner together in China

According to the London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy went to eat at a private restaurant in Shanghai, which rather belies suggestions that their relationship is strained.

Pochettino raised eye brows during a press conference this week, as the Spurs boss seemed very tetchy.

There were suggestions that the Tottenham manager was frustrated about a lack of transfer activity, as Spurs have only brought in two new players all summer.

However, Pochettino and Levy were eating meals together just last week, which suggests that they still get on fine.

Pochettino and Levy reportedly went for dinner with members of Tottenham’s back room staff and Harry Kane, during the Lilywhites’ time in China.

The report should ease concerns that Pochettino is mad about Tottenham’s transfer activity, or lack thereof, but there is unquestionably pressure building on Levy.

Spurs have only brought in Tanguy Ndombele who can immediately impact on their first-team so far this summer, and it seems that they need further additions if they are to compete for trophies again this term.
