Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are among the clubs said keen on the 16-year-old talent.
Bakan, who currently plays for Gaziantepspor, hit the headlines last season when he become the youngest ever scorer in his country’s Super Lig.
The 16-year-old attacking midfielder ended the campaign with an impressive two goals from four first team appearances, but could not prevent the Falcons slipping into the second tier.
However, their non top-flight status could see them struggle to do so, especially with interest from Tottenham, Manchester United and ‘several’ German clubs.
Bakan’s representative, Ibrahim Polat told ESPN: “Manchester United and Tottenham have been scouting Bakan.
“Several clubs from Germany have also been keeping tabs following his debut season in the Super Lig.
“He already has goals in the cup and league. Serkan is a special talent, so it is natural for there to be a lot of interest.”
Tottenham could prove an appealing destination should Bakan decide to move on, given their impressive record of blooding young talent under both Tim Sherwood and Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs were the youngest team on average during last season’s Premier League campaign, with Harry Kane (23) and Dele Alli (21) among their standout performers.
