Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Matt Doherty is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.

It has been reported that Tottenham are monitoring Doherty, who can operate as a right-back or as a left-back.
The Independent, though, has claimed that Doherty set to sign a new contract with Wolves that will see his current wages of £20,000 per week double.
Brilliant season
Doherty is having a great season on a personal level, and is playing well for Wolves in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international has made 21 appearances in the Premier League for Wolves, scoring three goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

It does not come as a surprise that Tottenham are (reportedly) interested in the defender, and it is quite smart of Wolves to hand the Republic of Ireland international a new contract.
Doherty has been on the books of Wolves his entire professional club football career so far and is very popular among the fans.
