Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have agreed a deal for Kyle Walker to join the Sky Blues.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have reached an agreement over Kyle Walker, according to The Mail’s transfer feed.
The 27-year-old is heavily linked with a move to Eastlands this summer and The Standard reported on Wednesday that the Citizens’ latest £40 million bid was still £10 million shy of Tottenham’s valuation.

However, it would appear as if there has been a compromise of sorts as The Mail claim that City will pay £45 million up front and a further £5 million in add-ons.
Tottenham fans will be sad to see Walker leave, by virtue of his contributions over the past eight years, but by the same token they will be happy to see this one resolved.
Walker’s transfer to Eastlands has rumbled on for a lot of the summer and now the Lilywhites, it would seem, can draw a line under it and prepare for life without the right-back.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino will likely promote Kieran Trippier as his first-choice option for that role now, though the Argentine would be wise to use some of that money to add another quality right-back as well.
