Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading the race for Tanguy Ndombele.

French website Telefoot report that Tottenham Hotspur are leading Manchester United in the race for Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are keen on the midfielder, who has joined Lyon permanently after a successful loan spell from Amiens.

Telefoot report: “According to the exclusive information of Telefoot the London club are several steps ahead of the competition and would have a great chances to sign NDombele.”

Spurs have already made an enquiry for the defensive midfielder.

French newspaper L’Equipe reported earlier this week that chairman Daniel Levy has contacted Lyon and expressed a willingness to pay £35 million.

The same report claims Lyon want 60 million Euros (£53 million) for Ndombele.

Spurs are looking at the young midfielder as a replacement for 30-year-old Mousa Dembele, who has just one year left on his contract.
