According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been injured in training with the England national football team.
It has been reported that Kane will miss the UEFA Nations League game between England and Belgium at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday.
The 27-year-old has reportedly strained a muscle in training and will not feature in the match tonight.
Potential blow for Tottenham Hotspur?
While Kane’s injury will come as a blow for England, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring on his debut for the Three Lions against Wales on Thursday and with Marcus Rashford also in the squad, manager Gareth Southgate does have options.
The injury will come as a blow to Tottenham, who need Kane to be fit to enhance their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
It remains to be seen how serious the injury to Kane is and whether he is able to recover in the next few days to turn out for Spurs next weekend.
Spurs will return to Premier League action next Sunday when they take on West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
