The Cameroonian could either compete with or replace Hugo Lloris at Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Andre Onana, according to Voetbal International.
The Dutch website reports, however, that it is unclear whether the Ajax goalkeeper is wanted as replacement or competition for Hugo Lloris, the Tottenham captain who has endured an up and down campaign both on and off the pitch.
Onana told Goal earlier this year he was open to leaving Ajax, and Marseille made a concrete approach for him, according to VI.
Ajax refused to let him go, however with Onana set to enter the final two-and-a-half years of his contract in 2019, the Dutch giants may change their mind to recoup maximum amount possible for a player they prised from Barcelona’s youth team three years ago.

Should Tottenham prove Onana’s destination, the Cameroonian former Samuel Eto’o Academy player would follow in the footsteps of Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez – each of whom played for Ajax before their moves to North London.
The Lloris understudy, Michel Vorm, is out of contract at Spurs next summer.
Do Tottenham need a new ‘keeper? And, if so, who should it be?
