Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with the agent of Giorgi Mamardashvili as he seeks a £30million move away from Valencia this summer.

90Min now claim that Tottenham met with the agents of Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili last week.
It’s stated that Mamardashvili’s representatives travelled to England last week and held talks with four clubs.
Spurs were one of them with Chelsea, Leicester City and Manchester United also in discussions over the Valencia star.
The report adds that Mamardashvili wants to leave Valencia and the struggling Spaniards won’t stand in his way.
A £30million fee will be needed for the Georgian, some £58million shy of his huge £88million release clause.

Mamardashvili hadn’t even made an appearance for Dinamo Tbilisi before making his 2021 move to Valencia.
Loans at Rustavi and Locomotive Tbilisi were enough to convince Valencia and they took him on loan.
The move quickly became permanent as Valencia realised they had a huge talent on their hands.
The 22-year-old is a gigantic stopper at 6ft 6in tall and has been a rare shining light in a dismal Valencia season.
Mamardashvili has proven himself as a quality shot-stopper and whilst he isn’t amazing with the ball at his feet, it’s an area he can develop in the coming years.
Mamardashvili’s size helps him dominate on crosses and Spurs may well believe he is ideal for them if they can work on his distribution.
Tottenham missed out on signing one Georgian star in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia but may have a chance to rectify that by signing compatriot Mamardashvili.
