Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Wilmar Barrios.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made contact with Wilmar Barrios’ family over a move.

Marca Colombia report Spurs have sounded out Barrios via his family over his situation and willingness to move.

The report adds that Tottenham are yet to submit an official offer to Boca Juniors for his transfer.

Barrios starred for Colombia at the World Cup, featuring in all four games.

His involvement at the tournament is now finished, with Colombia defeated by England on penalties.

It was reported last week by El Sol that Barrios has told Boca Juniors he expects to transfer to Tottenham.

Boca are close to going over their foreign player quota as they look to add another player of their own, which may help their desire to cash in on Barrios.

Spurs were first linked to Barrios by The Sun in May.
