Tottenham Hotspur play Manchester twice in the space of three days this week.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Tottenham will return to London after their Champions League tie with Manchester City tomorrow night, despite having to return to Manchester just 64 hours later for their Premier League clash.
Spurs take a one-goal lead to the Etihad, knowing that if they score against Pep Guardiola’s side they will be in a great place from which to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition.
Saturday’s Premier League game is equally important for Tottenham, however, with their place inside the Champions League places far from guaranteed.
With the two games being so close together, many expected Spurs to stay up in Manchester after tomorrow night’s match, but according to the Daily Mail, the north London outfit will return to London immediately after the Champions League clash.

Last week, City opted to stay in London between their FA Cup clash with Brighton, and their Champions League first-leg tie with Tottenham, but they ended up losing to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Whether the decision will pay off for Spurs, however, remains to be seen.
