Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Diego Carlos once again in the Telegraph, as interest in the Sevilla defender heats up.
Tottenham are known to be looking to add a new centre-back this summer, and Carlos is now believed to be on their radar.
The problem for Tottenham is that Pep Guardiola has also made him one of Manchester City’s leading targets this summer.
Spurs don’t have the financial power to compete with City, so winning the race for the Brazilian will be very testing.
However, if Jose Mourinho was allowed to bring in Carlos he would surely be a wonderful addition to Tottenham’s team.
Spurs have tightened up at the back recently, but there are still doubts over almost all of their current centre-back options.

Toby Alderweirled and Jan Vertonghen have shown signs of age, while Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez haven’t always been the most reliable.
Carlos, meanwhile, has enjoyed a stellar season at City, where his performances have drawn admiring glances from a number of top clubs.
It seems that Carlos could well move on this summer, but whether Tottenham could afford him still remains to be seen.
El Desmarque reported earlier this year that Sevilla want £65 million for their star centre-back, and reaching that asking price could be very challenging for Tottenham.
