Michel Vorm is expected to become a Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper again after Mauricio Pochettino’s Premier League strugglers lost Hugo Lloris to injury.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to announce that Michel Vorm has returned to North London after the injury-enforced absence of Hugo Lloris, according to Dutch publication NOS.
The veteran goalkeeper only left Spurs in the summer after five years stuck on the bench under Mauricio Pochettino. But after three months as a free agent he is apparently on his way back to the Premier League strugglers, who have been left short between the sticks after a dislocated elbow ruled Lloris out until the start of 2020.
There has been no confirmation from Tottenham just yet but the report claims that everything has been signed and sealed with the 35-year-old heading back to Britain in the autumn of his career.

Vorm, a former Utrecht and Swansea City goalkeeper, is likely to be used as an experienced understudy to Paulo Gazzaniga until Lloris is fit to return. And it remains to be seen whether the 15-time Holland international will be offered a deal until January, or until the end of the season.
Speaking to NOS in July, Liverpool’s goalkeeping coach John Achterberg admitted that the Champions of Europe had discussed bringing Vorm to Anfield but, for whatever reason, they chose Andy Lonergan and Adrian instead.
