According to Football London, Jose Mourinho is likely to give sufficient playing time to Tottenham’s Oliver Skipp if he continues to impress for Norwich.
The Spurs academy graduate joined the Canaries on a season-long loan deal back in the summer, and he has impressed at Carrow Road so far.
Skipp has started all ten of Norwich’s Championship games, helping them sit third – just four points off the summit.
Now, you may wonder how it’s fair to describe a player who’s out on loan as a fringe player.
Well, when the 20-year-old was under both Mauricio Pochettino and Mourinho in north London last season, he was only handed one Premier League start and six league appearances from the bench in total.

Despite his fringe status, there’s no denying that Skipp looks to be a real prospect in holding midfield.
According to WhoScored, the Englishman records 2.2 tackles per game in the Championship, while averaging 57.5 passes every 90 minutes with a success rate of 88.2%.

He also registers two long-range passes per game, and is fouled 1.7 times in every Championship match.
Skipp must simply continue what he’s doing in Norfolk, and then hopefully, Mourinho will give him plenty of playing time next season if Football London are to be believed.
