Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen could reportedly end up linking up with Vincent Kompany this summer.

According to a report from Belgian outlet HLN, Anderlecht are interested in Spurs striker Vincent Janssen this summer as they prepare for their first campaign under new player-manager Vincent Kompany.
It would be no surprise if Janssen does end up leaving Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the coming months. ITV reported when the Dutchman arrived in the Premier League that he cost £17 million, and he now looks set to go down as one of the club’s most underwhelming signings in recent years.
The 25-year-old scored two Premier League goals during his first campaign with Mauricio Pochettino’s side and has only made a handful of appearances in the two seasons since.
Despite his struggles, HLN is now reporting that Anderlecht have their eye on the former AZ star as they look to bounce back from a disappointing Championship play-off campaign which saw the club finish outside of the European places.

Spurs won’t miss Janssen
While it is impossible to completely write a player off while they remain on a club’s books, it does seem that there is next to no way back for Janssen at Spurs unless Pochettino stunned everyone and left and a new manager decided to take a gamble on the Dutchman.
He has not made the impact that Spurs have needed when he has been given a chance. So if Tottenham get the opportunity to recoup some of the money that they paid for the striker this summer, they should have no hesitation in letting him pursue a new challenge.
