Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up Stuttgart star Sasa Kalajdzic as backup to Harry Kane, so say the Daily Mail.
It’s claimed that Tottenham won’t be taking up their £36million option to sign Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius permanently.
Instead, they’re looking at other strikers for summer moves, and Kalajdzic is one option that has appeared prominently on their radar.
Who is Sasa Kalajdzic?
Kalajdzic, 23, is a huge striker at 6ft 7in tall, representing a real target man figure that could be a game-changer for Tottenham off the bench.
The Austrian has been in blistering form of late, smashing nine goals in his last 10 Bundesliga games, taking his tally for the season to 14.
Formerly of Admira Wacker, Kalajdzic already has three goals in 2022 World Cup qualifying, and his mobility for his size is hugely appealing.

What about other interest?
Kalajdzic is a hot property right now, and The Independent report that West Ham United want to sign him, but may have to make it a loan-to-buy offer.
Borussia Dortmund fancy him if Erling Haaland moves on this summer, but Kalajdzic has admitted to Bild that he wants a move to Liverpool.
Spurs may hope that the can convince Kalajdzic to pick North London over anywhere else, and his record this season makes him a very exciting option.
