Tottenham have reportedly reignited their interest in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, with Antonio Conte a huge fan of the Argentine international.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Serie A forward could depart Italy in the summer, with Martinez continuing to attract interest from Tottenham, who were keen on the Inter superstar in 2021 as a potential striking partner for Harry Kane.
A player adored by Conte, with the Italian hailing the striker as ‘a juggernaut’ as per Inter’s official YouTube channel, Martinez could be open to reuniting with his former player in the summer window, with Tottenham likely to go big in the transfer market.
Conte has a reputation of spending both big and bringing in numerous players in the window, and Martinez could be Tottenham’s marquee signing this summer if the Italian is offered the funds to pull off the transfer.
Martinez was part of the famed ‘LauLu’ partnership with Romelu Lukaku which saw Inter win the Serie A title for the first time in over a decade, and whilst the Belgian has returned to the Premier League, the Argentine has continued to impress in Italy.
The 24-year-old has 11 goals in the league this campaign as Inter once again look likely to win the Scudetto, yet next season could well see Martinez reunite with Conte in the summer for Tottenham.
Martinez could be lethal for Tottenham under Conte

With Fabrizio Romano reporting that Tottenham had a £77m offer rejected for Martinez in the summer, Spurs will have to step up their efforts if they are to sign the South American, yet the pull of Conte could be enough to get the deal over the line.
Indeed, the striker is built for the Premier League, and under Conte and potentially alongside Kane, Martinez could be an outrageous option for Tottenham to have on their books for next season.
