According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are ‘extremely interested’ in signing Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

Spurs haven’t brought in any new signings for more than a year now, and Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is in need of reinforcements at the end of the season.

Right back is a particular area of concern, as Serge Aurier has been something of a flop, whilst Kieran Trippier has endured a dismal season so far.

A new right back is a must, and The Sun not only claim that Spurs are ready to sell both Aurier and Trippier this summer, but are ‘extremely interested’ in signing Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 21-year-old made his Palace debut just over a year ago, and is now considered as one of the Premier League’s best and most promising right backs.

A former winger with outstanding pace, Wan-Bissaka has been a solid defender throughout the season whilst getting forward too, an a first England cap is surely on the horizon.

A graduate of the Palace academy, London-born Wan-Bissaka is now attracting major interest, with Spurs the latest team to allegedly register their interest.

Moving for Wan-Bissaka would come just weeks after he admitted he felt it was a ‘miracle’ to play against Tottenham, having been used to seeing them on TV or playing against them on FIFA. If Pochettino gets his way, Wan-Bissaka may well end up playing for Spurs instead, though he won’t come cheap.
