Tottenham Hotspur clearly have very big plans for Kim Min-jae.

The South Korea international has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs.

It was reported this week that the 6’3 powerhouse defender was set to fly into North London for a medical ahead of joining Tottenham.

Football London have claimed that the Lilywhites have made ‘serious enquiries’ into signing him.

But the report also claims that the club expect him to adapt quicker than one Tottenham star.

Min-jae is international team-mates with Son Heung-min, arguably one of Jose Mourinho’s best players, but it was a tough first year in the Premier League for the former Bayer Leverkusen star.

But Football London claims that Tottenham hope the 23-year-old Beijing Sinobo Guoan centre-back would enjoy a much quicker transition to a new life and a new league.

This is an important signing for Mourinho if it happens.

That’s because the Portuguese is set to lose Jan Vertonghen and with Juan Foyth injured, and Eric Dier a midfielder, he only has two recognised centre-halves in the form of Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez.
