According to Estadio Deportivo, Tottenham Hotspur are in the race to sign Real Betis defender Emerson Royal this summer.
Arsenal are keen to lure Emerson to North London this summer, seemingly viewing him as a potential successor to Hector Bellerin.
Now though, the Gunners face a battle with their famous rivals as Spurs are believed to be in the running to sign the Brazilian.
Emerson, 22, has been compared to Dani Alves for his attacking ability and pace going forward, though his future is very unclear.
A complex deal means Barcelona can re-sign Emerson from Betis this summer, though their financial issues mean an instant sale looks likely.
Emerson has impressed this season, notching two goals and four assists for Betis whilst also being strong and reliable defensively.

Tottenham signed a right back last summer in Matt Doherty, but he has struggled to replicate his Wolverhampton Wanderers form since making the move.
With Serge Aurier’s future unclear too, Tottenham could move to bring in Emerson as their long-term right back solution – and will hope to beat Arsenal to a deal in the process.
