Tottenham are reportedly planning to take Isco on loan, with a view to a permanent move for the Real Madrid playmaker.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are planning to sign Real Madrid playmaker Isco on a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent move.
Spurs have had a fairly quiet summer, bringing in just two new faces as defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama and striker Vincent Janssen were brought in from Southampton and AZ Alkmaar respectively.

However, with just over three days to go until the transfer window slams shut, some Spurs fans are still hoping to see a couple more signings arrive, with a small section even keen to see Mauricio Pochettino bring in a big-name player.
That’s not really Pochettino’s style, but The Mirror now report that Tottenham are actually making a move for Real Madrid playmaker Isco, with the plan to take him on loan for the season.

Isco, 24, joined Real from Malaga back in the summer of 2013 when he became one of Europe’s most wanted playmakers, but his time at the Santiago Bernabeu has been up-and-down to say the least.
With 11 goals in his first season, the Spanish international thrived with Real, but with just 11 goals in the last two seasons – since fellow playmaker James Rodriguez was signed after the 2014 World Cup – Isco has stagnated in the Spanish capital.

The attacking midfielder will know that he needs first-team football at this stage in his career, and Tottenham, who are looking for more talent ahead of their Champions League campaign, are believed to be ready to offer him a way out.
It’s claimed that Tottenham’s plan is to sign Isco on a season-long deal with a view to a permanent move, and whilst Chelsea are keen to land him too, it’s believed that Spurs are favourites to sign Isco in a blockbuster deal that would evoke memories of Rafael van der Vaart’s deadline-beating move from Real Madrid to White Hart Lane in 2010.
