Tottenham have suffered more than their fair share of injuries this term.

Sky Sports have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose’s recent knee injury is not deemed serious, despite it being a reaction to the previous long-term problem that kept him sidelined for almost a year.
The 27-year-old suffered the knock to his knee during the 5-2 win over Southampton, which saw him miss the win over Swansea City and Thursday night’s 1-1 draw against London rivals West Ham United.

However, the report claims that the former Leeds United left-back will not be on the sidelines for much longer, and could even be included in a squad to face AFC Wimbledon in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The England international is being continually assessed by the north Londoners’ medical team, but it is more likely that Pochettino does not risk Rose as Spurs next go up against Everton on January 13 in a Saturday evening kick-off.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs’ number three’s future is with Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as Manchester United are continually linked with a move for the defender. However, he has more than three years remaining on his current contract.
Rose has managed just nine appearances in all competitions, after his return to full fitness did not guarantee his return to a first-team starting spot with Wales international Ben Davies shining on the left in his absence.
