Well, it was Tutto Mercato Web who revealed that Spurs are looking to bring the Wales international back to the Premier League.

Bale becomes a free agent in June, and he isn’t going to sign a new contract with Real Madrid, where things have turned sour.
Marca recently labelled him the ‘Welsh parasite’ in a shocking attack on the 32-year-old, who has only made four La Liga starts this season.
Now, Bale could be involved in a unique deal.
The Evening Standard believe the ex-Southampton man could sign a short-term contract running until November, if Wales qualify for the World Cup.
Bale could sign a one-year deal, but it is said that his main focus is the World Cup, and he would retire immediately after the tournament ends in December.
If Wales fail to qualify for the World Cup, the Real Madrid forward is expected to retire this summer instead.
Tottenham may now be put off Gareth Bale

As romantic as it would be, Spurs might not fancy agreeing to these terms.
Effectively, Bale could sign a short-term deal just to keep himself fit, as his main focus is on the World Cup.
Tottenham, specifically Antonio Conte, would surely want any potential signings to be fully focused on Spurs, as well as fully committed for the entire season.

As good as Bale is, Conte is a stern winner who wants his players to run themselves into the ground for him and the team.
Therefore, the Italian may not be willing to agree to a unique deal like this.
