Tottenham Hotspur have added Haris Seferovic to their list of striker targets, having missed out on ‘several’ others, according to Record.
And the Portuguese paper claims that while no approach has been made to Seferovic’s club, Benfica, Tottenham could make a move ahead of next month’s transfer deadline.
Benfica are said to be seeking sales after their failure to progress through the Champions League’s qualification stage.
But Seferovic could yet be allowed to join Spurs on loan, according to Record.
The Switzerland international has scored or assisted 59 goals in 126 games for Benfica, where he still has four years left on his contract.
But with the Eagles having splashed out on a trio of new attackers in Everton Soares, Luca Waldschmidt and Darwin Nunez this summer, Seferovic is unlikely to be sorely missed.

Tottenham were themselves linked with Nunez, and have also been credited with an interest in another Benfica striker, Carlos Vinicius, for whom Benfica want £36.6 million, according to O Jogo.
