Spurs have cooled their interest in Moussa Sissoko after Newcastle United failed to budge on their £30 million valuation, according to Sky Sports.
They had earlier reported that the Frenchman was set to join Spurs for £30 million to be paid in five £6 million instalments, but Daniel Levy seems determined to get a lower price for the midfielder.

The Newcastle star has been given permission to leave his training camp with France to seal the deal and was believed to be on his way to London.
Sissoko has made his desire to leave the Magpies clear all summer and it remains to be seen whether he gets his wish on transfer deadline day.
Ryan Mason celebrates scoring the first goal for Tottenham
Tottenham have been proactive in shipping out players this transfer window and the departures of Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb and Nacer Chadli make sense when Sissoko’s potential arrival is factored in.
The 27-year old can act as a useful alternative for Mousa Dembele as well as offering another option in a more advanced midfield.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino before the match
He has the energy and physique to thrive in Mauricio Pochettino’s system and he proven how good he can be next to high-level team-mates at Euro 2016.
If the reported £30 million fee is true, it would match Tottenham’s record fee paid for Erik Lamela in 2013, but the market has changed and Sissoko could well come to justify that price tag this season.
