Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly still pursuing Leeds United’s Jack Clarke.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are chasing a late deal for Leeds United winger Jack Clarke – but may have to loan him straight back to Elland Road.
Clarke, 18, has come up through the famed Leeds academy, following in the footsteps of Premier League talents such as Fabian Delph, James Milner, Aaron Lennon and current Spurs ace Danny Rose.
The wide man has got his big break under Marcelo Bielsa, emerging with two goals and two assists in 14 Championship outings, though only three have been as a starter.
Clarke has subsequently attracted major interest off the back of his displays for the Whites this season, with many believing that he will become a huge star for club and even country.
Leeds have been adamant that Clarke isn’t leaving, but The Mirror claim Spurs are now attempting to secure his signature before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

Leeds would still take some convincing, and Tottenham would likely have to agree to clause in the deal to loan him straight back to Elland Road if they can agree a move.
That wouldn’t exactly solve Tottenham’s attacking issues right now, but having struck a similar deal for Dele Alli in 2015, they may be tempted to do it again with Clarke this week, even if Leeds are still fighting hard to keep him.
