According to Goal, Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a bid for Everton’s Richarlison in the coming days.
The north London outfit have long been linked with a move for the Brazilian attacker, and now, it seems as though they’re set to formalise their interest in the South American.
Tottenham have been linked with a plethora of new attackers, from Gabriel Jesus to Raphinha, but now, it seems as though they’ve settled on Richarlison as their top target.
The Everton forward is certainly good enough to be a star for Spurs. After all, he has been described as ‘fantastic’ by Carlo Ancelotti in the past, while he’s proven his Premier League chops over a number of years with both Everton and Watford.
After narrowly avoiding relegation with the Toffees last season, it would be understandable if Richarlison wanted to leave Goodison Park this summer, and with the Merseyside club currently enduring financial woes, there’s the potential of snapping Richarlison up for a bargain fee.
Of course, Spurs aren’t the only team keen on Richarlison. Real Madrid and Chelsea have already been linked, and while Tottenham can offer him Champions League football, they may not be able to offer him a starting spot as Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son were absolutely fantastic in the front three last season.
It looks as though Richarlison will be on his way out of Goodison Park this summer, and with Spurs set to bid, the attacker may well be on his way to north London.
