According to Tuttosport, Tottenham are constantly monitoring the situation of Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

The Italian news outlet add that Spurs are eyeing the forward with ‘straight antennas and swollen wallets’ – suggesting that they’re fixated on Belotti, and have the cash to sign him.

Tuttosport add that Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea are also eyeing the 32-cap Italy international’s signature.

Interestingly, a transfer could happen.

Corriere dello Sport recently claimed that Belotti wants leave Torino this summer, and join a big European club.

With an impressive 12 goals and six assists in 27 Serie A appearances this season, he’ll surely have plenty of offers.

So, if Tottenham end up winning the race for Belotti, what type of player can supporters expect?

Well, ex-England boss Fabio Capello made a bold statement back in 2017, comparing Belotti to Argentina legend Gabriel Batistuta.

As quoted by Goal, the Italian said: “Belotti is one of the best strikers in Europe. He knows how to move, he basically knows how to do everything. He’s fast, technically skilled and is probably better than Batistuta.”

With 104 goals in 220 games for Torino, the 27-year-old certainly knows where the back of the net is.

Should he arrive in the Premier League, opposition defenders have every right to be afraid.
