Attacker Defrel, 26, is another player who could be in demand this summer, having notched 14 goals in 35 games for Sassuolo in all competitions last season.
The Frenchman, who joined Sassuolo from Cesena in 2015, scored just seven goals in his first season with the club, but starred last term to trigger major interest in his signature.
Tutto Mercato Web report that four Premier League clubs – Leicester City, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United – are all keen on signing Defrel this summer.
It’s even claimed that his agent will be in London later this week to discuss a possible move for his client, with the forward potentially in line for a switch to the Premier League.

All the clubs mentioned are in the market for attacking reinforcements, and whilst he may not be a big name that Spurs fans would be looking for, he could offer Mauricio Pochettino a versatile attacking option in the mould of Son Heung-min.
Defrel possesses great pace and technical ability, and he has the versatility to play up front, out wide or behind a striker, meaning he could fit into Tottenham’s 3-4-2-1 system in a variety of roles – but they may have to move quickly to land him.
