According to Viola News, Tottenham and West Ham have sent an enquiry to Fiorentina over the availability of Bartłomiej Drągowski.
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet add that Southampton and Wolves are also interested in the 23-year-old.
The 1-cap Poland international’s future at Fiorentina is set to be discussed with whoever replaces Gennaro Gattuso as manager.
In the meantime, Fiorentina have already began finding a replacement for Drągowski just in case.
Juventus glovesman Mattia Perin could be that man, after his agent Alessandro Lucci ‘tested the ground’ with Fiorentina.
In 36 Serie A appearances last season, Drągowski conceded 55 goals and kept eight clean sheets.
The Pole could be Tottenham’s replacement for Hugo Lloris, as the Frenchman’s contract expires in 2022.
Drągowski has been described as Superman
You might not know much about Drągowski, so let’s see what type of goalkeeper he really is.
After a stunning performance against Inter Milan, Fiorentina’s No.69 was described as Superman by the Italian media.

Calciomercato also touted him as Fiorentina’s only saviour, while he’s also been lauded as the best player the Serie A side have to offer.
At 23 – which is very young for a goalkeeper – Drągowski has plenty of time to get even better.
Tottenham should sign Drągowski now
In our view, with plenty of competition for his signature, Spurs should try and get a deal done now.
If Drągowski has another impressive season, his value will surely increase, as will the competition for his services.

Should Tottenham be truly convinced by him, it would make sense to wrap up a permanent deal now, before loaning him back to Fiorentina.
Then, once Lloris finds himself out of contract, Tottenham will already have their replacement lined up.
