Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are linked with the Turkish marksman.

According to Turkish Football, Premier League duo Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur had scouts in attendance to watch Cenk Tosun in Turkey’s defeat by Iceland in World Cup qualifying last week.
The 26-year-old attacker started the contest in Istanbul as the visitors cruised to a simple 3-0 victory over Tosun and co.
The Besiktas marksman was linked with a move to Tottenham and Newcastle during the summer transfer window after scoring 24 times for his club last season.

And Turkish Football has reported that the Premier League pair watched the £17.8 million-rated forward in action on Friday.
Both clubs have now watched him on several occasions and it will be interesting to see whether either side makes a move in January, with Tosun out of contract in 2019.

Spurs sent some £11.5 million on Fernando Llorente in the summer so Mauricio Pochettino is not in dire need of another striker to cover red-hot Harry Kane.
It is a slightly different story for the Magpies, whose £5 million capture of Joselu is not looking particularly inspired as of yet, while Rafael Benitez only has Dwight Gayle and Aleksandar Mitrovic in reserve.
