Italian outlet CalcioMercato claim that Tottenham and Manchester United want to sign AS Roma and England striker Tammy Abraham – with Jose Mourinho’s side rating the forward at an enormous £100million ahead of next summer.
Abraham, 25, joined Roma last summer. The England striker clocked up an enormous 53 appearances in his first season, as Roma reached the final of the Europa Conference League. He scored 27 goals, and laid on six assists.
This season, his form has dipped at Roma. Indeed, Abraham has managed just two goals in 14 games for Roma. But his stock remains high and continues to form an impressive partnership with Paulo Dybala and Nicolo Zaniolo.
The report claims that Abraham is garnering interest from these shores. Manchester United and Tottenham want to land the Roma striker. Back in the summer, the Mail said that Abraham is valued at £100million – but that might drop.

Tottenham and Manchester United want Roma striker Abraham
Tottenham are in a position where they might have to spend big to sign a striker. The doubt over Harry Kane leaving Spurs has reduced since the summer of 2021 – but his contract is yet to be tied up. Bayern Munich are interested.
Kane could leave at the end of the season, if Antonio Conte chooses to go. The Italian’s future is crucial to Kane and his decision to remain. If Spurs go without another trophy this season, then that might tempt Kane to look for a move.
At Old Trafford, they need a striker regardless. Cristiano Ronaldo is out of contract next summer and could even leave in January. They have Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, but they are hardly the long-term solution up front.
Whether Spurs or United are ready to smash their transfer record and sign Abraham for £100million, is another question. Both clubs may argue that Abraham’s poor form this season reduces his price tag.
