Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are reportedly the latest clubs to register an interest in Burnley defender Michael Keane.

A report in the Daily Mirror has suggested that Tottenham and Manchester United have become the latest clubs to register an interest in Burnley defender Michael Keane.
Keane has enjoyed a tremendous season at Turf Moor, proving to be an integral part of the Clarets side that looks to be well on their way to comfortably securing survival in the Premier League.
Unsurprisingly therefore, his form has attracted plenty of attention from the top teams in the division with the likes of Everton, Liverpool and Chelsea all keen, according to the Mirror.
The Toffees are leading the chase, the Mirror reports, but they have now been joined in the running by Spurs and United, with the latter being the club that sold Keane to Burnley for £2.5 million in 2015.
The Mirror adds that Tottenham have been keeping a keen eye on the 24-year-old as Mauricio Pochettino seemingly looks to bolster his defensive ranks ahead of next season, when they will be back in the Champions League.

However, it appears that the England international will not come cheap, with the Mirror reporting that Tottenham or United will have to pay £30 million to secure Keane’s signature.
As impressive as Keane has been, it may not be a surprise if Pochettino is somewhat put off by such a price given that he arguably boasts two of the finest centre-backs in the league already, and has the likes of Eric Dier and Kevin Wimmer who can also fill in there, so he would be forgiven for preferring to pursue a cheaper option.
