German newspaper BILD reports Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are both keeping track of prolific striker Timo Werner.

Werner is a German international striker who has scored 11 goals in 17 Bundesliga games this season.

His form for Red Bull Leipzig is attracting interest from Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund have just landed a big sum for cashing in on Christian Pulisic to Chelsea, and they are considering spending it on Werner.

Bayern Munich are also claimed to hold an interest in the striker.

Liverpool finalised a deal with Leipzig last summer to sign Werner’s teammate Naby Keita.

Werner began as a winger at Stuttgart before refining his game and excelling as a striker.

Leipzig are facing having to cash in on the striker as his contract expires in 2020 and he is stalling on a new deal, The Mirror report.

BILD report Leipzig would rather cash in this summer and hope to recoup 60 million Euros (£53.8m).
