Tottenham and Everton were linked with Matias Vecino last month.

TuttoSport claimed last month that both Spurs and Everton were keen on the 26-year-old midfielder, who started all of Uruguay’s five World Cup games this summer before the South American outfit were stopped by France in the last eight.
Last season, Vecino made 29 Serie A appearances for Inter but suddenly the former Fiorentina star looks set to be left out of the Italian giants’ Champions League squad – with Inter signing Radja Nainggolan and interested in Mousa Dembele.
It means Vecino has plummeted down the pecking order, so much so that he could be left out of the Champions League squad which will surely tempt him into leaving the club this summer.

Spurs need a central midfielder with Dembele expected to leave the club this summer, as he has less than a year remaining on his current deal. Everton have plenty of options in the middle of the park, but are yet to make a signing.
Inter signed Vecino for £21.4million last summer (Goal), and TuttoSport’s report claim that any interested parties must make a good offer if they are to land the ball-playing Uruguayan.
