Reported Tottenham Hotspur and Everton target Thiago Silva is determined to play in the Premier League, the Telegraph suggest.

Silva has confirmed that he is set to play for PSG for the last time at the weekend, when they play in the Champions League final, and after that he will focus on his future.

The Brazilian is said to be eyeing up a move to England, and it seems that his options are plentiful, with Tottenham and Everton among the clubs considering him.

The Sun claimed last month that Tottenham were keen to sign him ahead of Everton in June.

Silva’s wages at PSG are currently huge, but the Telegraph suggest that he could well take a pay cut to try and make sure a move to England does happen.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are also in the race for the veteran 35-year-old, who could make an appealing addition to any side looking to bolster their back-line.

Silva played in PSG’s Champions League quarter-final and impressed, which proves that despite his advancing years he still has the ability to perform at the highest level.

Silva may not have the pace that he once possessed now, but with Tottenham playing fairly deep under Jose Mourinho that may not be too much of a concern for them.

Everton also clearly need additions at the back, with their options in central defence currently very limited.
